If you do a Google search for the term “avocado toast” you’re going to get about 612,000 hits. I know because I tried. I am not sure when, or perhaps I was just ignorant, but I feel as though this Avocado Toast movement only started about 1-2 years ago? I never noticed it before then but boy am I glad it’s in my life! If I had an avocado tree, I’d have avocado toast every morning. (This is a dream of mine.. to plant and grow an avocado tree one day when we finally purchase our own home :-))
Last weekend, I saw avocados sold in packs of 3 for RM10.00. Not that it’s any cheaper than the usual but I guess I wanted avocados badly enough. Haha! I snagged that and a couple of other fruits to keep our vitamins up , including some champagne grapes. Have you seen these before? I think I’m not wrong in saying that they are the cutest little grapes in the world! Slightly tart but generally sweet, they are the most fun to eat.
When I woke up this morning, I knew I wanted avocado toast for breakfast. I didn’t have eggs so eggvocado toast was out of the equation. But how to make them more interesting? I could use jam… or those cute grapes! So that was what I did.
